OOOO this is a good one. I can't wait to share my favorites. Girl, do you ever look at someone across the room with a HUGE bag and wonder what the heck could be in that thing....and HOW is it not KILLING her shoulders because it's so massive! No? It's just me! Well ok then...... haha

First, before we dive right into my bag, let's reflect on my WHY!

I get asked all the time WHY did you become a personal trainer? And 19 years later, I still love it! I love helping people. The reward of taking something that is so simple for me and helping others apply it to their lives is an incredible feeling. Holy moly there is a lot of misleading information out there "on the web!" I can only imagine how confused you all are! Low carb, keto, paleo, fat free, cardio, weights, high intensity training........man oh man! I am overwhelmed just thinking about.

To be honest, it needs to be an individual approach for each individual person. There is no one size fits all approach. It's basic science!!!! Not only is everybody's body different, I take into consideration lifestyle and what you are willing to sacrifice to reach your goals. Wow that's a BIG topic that I will explain as we go in the next few blogs!

Now back to my bag of goodies.....

As a trainer, I am on the GO all day long teaching classes, training clients, meeting clients for grocery trips..... my day gets nuts and I need to be prepared for anything. This includes having exercise toys, extra clothes (for when I get sweaty!) and of course food! I love this bag because its so simple on the outside and it has lots of neat little compartments inside! Lunch Bag

I never truly know when I will be done and starting at 5:00am I pack my breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks just incase! You don't want to see me HANGRY! This also helps me stay on track with my meal plan. If I don't have it all with me....who knows where I would end up! Igloo Left Over Lunch Tote

Shaker Cups

Yes TWO! Once for my morning hydration and protein. And the other for my afternoon matcha and mila shake! I pre-make these every morning, again to keep me on track.

Power Systems Exercise Bands

I LOVE THESE THINGS! Not only can you do 100's of exercises with them, they target all of the little muscles to improve balance and stability within the entire system!

Gliders

My second favorite piece of exercise equipment. These things add extra resistance and range of motion to so many traditional movements for that extra burn!

Extra Clothes

I never know when I will have an opening to get a workout in, so I am always prepared for a sweat session! This season I am loving Lorna Jane sports bras, they fit the best and last the longest; Under Armour tanks; and Fabletics pants for the win!

Before anything else, preparation is the key to success!
